Well-known Web Facts

In the age of Web 2.0, there is no need for much explanation to people who are experienced in the world of Internet. Therefore the following paragraphs only shortly summarize the facts, that leave no doubt that the Internet has great profit-producing prospects for people having professional knowledge. Some basic truth:

a) Who is not on the net, does not exists!

Write your name into Google! What can you find? This is your picture to the outside world! Can you be found? Do you use the net? Do you use e-mail? Do you use http? Do you use ftp? Do you use other different webspace services? Do you use content-dividing sides? Do you use YouTube, Google Documents, mailing lists, forums, blogs? Do you read news sites? Do you know the RSS? Do you use Feed, Ping, Chat, Skype, MSN, IWIW? Do you have a footprint on the Internet?

b) We can be witnesses of a new Industrial Revolution!

Crisis? Tragedy? Many people believe, that individuals and firms who forgot to develop and innovate, whose past profession is not in demand any more, who did not develop themselves or the methods of their firm will disappear from the economic circulation. Nowadays in the world of Internet, it is much easier and cheaper to find new clients, than in the "off-line" age provided that we use the appropriate net methods, the expertise we offer is appropriately developed, and there is demand for it. Nowadays we can deliver the content of a good website to millions of people, and our product or service has better chances to find customers. On the Internet we have equal chances as competitors even with the greatest multinational firms.

c) Info-business is the future

The most promising enterprises of the future offer their services, useful information, expertise, methods, experiences to people interested in a given topic through the Internet. The scale is very wide, because sometimes the most specialized information is needed, which would be very difficult to access without the Internet.

d) Professional websites are necessary!

The leaflet-style websites are fortunately over, although there are still plenty of them. If your website is full of out-dated information, it is a negative message, which tells the readers that your firm might have have been wound up. The future is professional websites, which have continuously updated, fresh content, where dynamic elements (latest news, newsletters, forums, blosg, RSS, article series) help to process the content, and which can give an overall picture of a given area to those interested. The operator or the owner of such a website is regarded by the readers as a real expert of his/her speciality, and there is no doubt that the required products and services will be bought fromhim/her.

e) You are found ont he basis of your content!

The search engines can process the content elements, they do not deal with the form of the websites. The relevant content should certainly be presented in an easily readable, processable structure. If the structure of a website is not appropriate, it will be slower and more difficult for the readers and the search engines to find the real, useful and valuable content, which would sell the products and services.

f) Design catches the visitor!

The aesthetic shape of your website helps to broaden your clientele, to sell your products and services. A website with badly composed outlook, unpleasant colours and , typography deters the visitors. Even if the webside is found, many people would exit it. The effort and costs you put into getting more visitors lose their effect. At the same time, high-standard image, spectacular, but elegant visual presentation make the webside attractive to the user, which creates repeated visits.
